Enter your name, job title, industry, and location. This personalizes your portfolio and gives every entry context.

Add your current work period

Set up your current employer or client as a work period โ€” including your role, start date, and work type (full-time, freelance, consulting, etc.).

Choose your focus areas

Pick up to 3 categories that reflect your core professional strengths. This shapes your dashboard and strength profile, but you can track all categories regardless.

Log accomplishments as they happen

Add a title, pick a category, attach the work period it belongs to, write a brief description, and include a key metric if there's a real number attached. Upload supporting files โ€” a screenshot, a certificate, a document โ€” to make the entry concrete.

Invite someone to verify your work

Tap "Invite" and choose who you want to link โ€” a manager, client, mentor, or colleague. Choose which categories they can verify, generate a 4-character code, and share it. They enter the code in their own Track Record account and can then verify your accomplishments within the categories you granted them access to.

The short version

Track Record stores your information securely using Google Firebase. We don't sell your data, show ads, or share it with unrelated third parties.

What we collect

Your account email, profile details (name, job title, industry, location), the accomplishments, metrics, and files you upload, and basic information about people you invite to verify your work (name, email, role).

Where it's stored

Google Firebase's secure cloud infrastructure. We don't run our own separate servers โ€” your data lives in Google's cloud, protected by encrypted connections and authenticated access.

Who can see it

You control access to your record. People you specifically invite (a manager, client, mentor, or colleague) can only see what you've granted them access to, and only after entering an invite code you generated. You can remove their access at any time from Settings.

Can the creator see it?

Yes. As the operator of Track Record, we have administrative access to the data stored in our systems โ€” the same way any app's developer can access their own database. We only use that access to run, maintain, support, and secure the app. We never sell it, advertise with it, or share it with outside companies.

Your choices

Delete any accomplishment, file, or profile detail at any time. Remove anyone's access to your record whenever you want. Permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings, or contact us at itshandledbye@gmail.com.

Security

Encrypted connections and authenticated access throughout. No system is 100% secure, but we don't cut corners.

Governing law

Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Track Record, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Contact us immediately at itshandledbye@gmail.com if you believe your account was accessed without permission.

3. Your Content

You own the accomplishments, files, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading it, you grant us permission to store and display it to you and anyone you've granted access, solely to operate the app. We don't claim ownership, use it for advertising, or sell it to third parties. You're responsible for ensuring it's accurate and that you have the right to share it.

4. Verification

Verification badges are optional. They reflect that a specific invited person confirmed an accomplishment within Track Record. Track Record does not independently confirm the accuracy of any accomplishment, verified or not. Verification is a feature of the platform, not a guarantee of accuracy.

5. Acceptable Use

By using the app you agree to our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. You may delete your own account at any time from Settings.

7. No Warranty

Track Record is provided "as is." We are not responsible for decisions made by employers, clients, or others based on your Track Record profile.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us โ€” which, since Track Record is free, is $0.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Log achievements, outcomes, or metrics that are fabricated or that you don't have the right to claim.

Generate an invite code falsely claiming a professional relationship, or use verification to endorse work you didn't actually witness or supervise.

Send abusive, threatening, or discriminatory messages to other users through the app.

Access another user's account or data without their authorization.
